GCA the Organisation

One of the largest private providers of its kind in Australia, GCA provides a solid foundation through strong management structures, an experienced academic advisory board, several strategic business partnerships and various joint ventures. This structure allows for the delivery of quality services to all stakeholders including students and corporate members.

GCA is a Registered Training Organisation with various education departments and support services. The current departments consist of the following: Higher Education, Vocational Education & Training, English Language, Workplace Training, Educational Administration Software Development, and Student Recruitment Agency.

GCA Towers - The Campus

The GCA Towers are situated in the centre of Sydney?s education precinct. Just a stone?s throw from the University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney, with easy access to venues at Darling Harbour, Chinatown, World Square and the Sydney Central Business District. It is also directly adjacent to a major transit artery into the Central Business District, allowing student?s easy access to all of Sydney.

Campus Facilities

GCA?s modern campus is equipped to the highest standards enjoyed by leading education institutions, with leading edge teaching and learning technology. The state-of-the-art learning environment consists of the following: a custom developed Online Student Management System (myGCA) that is comparable to any commercial product used by universities and colleges around the world; Interactive Whiteboards (SmartBoards) in all classrooms which allow teachers to upload notes written in class to the online learning management system; Access to the most one of the world?s most popular Online Learning Management Systems, Moodle, which allows students remote access to support resources and class notes 24/7; An e-Resource Centre with digital databases used by major universities, both domestically and abroad, consisting of journals, papers and digital texts.

GCA the Management

GCA is Australian owned and operated, with an Executive Management Team with over 100 years of knowledge and experience. The teams combined corporate and educational experience has assisted GCA in growing into one of the largest private Australian RTOs, with continuing steady growth despite the economic downturn. GCA employs more than 100 full-time staff and contractors.

GCA?s Global Network

GCA has significant regional and global engagement - with an international agent network of more than 50 countries, and strong overseas brand recognition. GCA?s marketing ventures consist of traditional advertising arenas such as print, as well as a dynamic digital presence. Due to this global engagement, its member colleges host close to 5000 students both Australian and international. Many students also come to GCA through personal recommendation from alumni.

GCA Alumni

Students who attend a GCA member college are provided with practical education focused on providing them with the key industry knowledge that will help them launch their careers. The courses are industry recognised, with UIC Sydney graduates being able to apply for recognition from CPA (Certified Practicing Accountants) and IPA (Institute of Public Accountants) upon course completion.

GCA has, on average, several thousand students attending GCA each year. Therefore, over the thirty years thousands of alumni have graduated and gone on to achieve success in their chosen careers. Our alumni are thriving in businesses around the world, excelling at their chosen career, and achieving success in both Australian and overseas universities. We aim to launch the career of every student that graduates from a GCA member college.
